Daniel Dinesh Kumaran

Associate Pastor

Pastor Daniel Dinesh Kumaran, 37, grew up in Klang and is the only boy in the family with 2 sisters. As a teen growing up steeped in Hindhu rituals, Daniel felt a great emptiness for many years which led to a search for the truth, before God in His grace and power revealed to him Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord in 1995.

Married now for 13 years to Chiew Chin with 3 lovely kids Nicholas 12, Isabelle 8, and Katrina 5, Daniel serves as associate pastor in charge of Bethany’s Evangelistic and Discipleship ministries, while also overseeing the church’s media ministry.

Having graduated from the Haggai Institute National Advanced Leadership Training, Daniel is passionate about focused initiatives through the empowering of the Holy Spirit in fulfilling the Great Commission. Having been blessed greatly by Haggai Ministries, Daniel currently serves as president of the Klang Haggai Chapter and is active in the organisation and running of Haggai national leadership seminars.

Daniel passionately believes that a large part of fulfilling the Great Commission includes being faithful to Jesus’ call for the church to heal the sick and set the spiritually oppressed free. He believes strongly that the church today needs to closely model the Lord Jesus as the early church in the book of Acts did.

Through the equipping by Elijah Challenge Ministries, Daniel has been actively engaged in the healing ministry where he’s seen God work many miracles in recent years in the lives of many needy and sick people. He gives all glory to God affirming as it is written in 1 Thes 5:24 that it is God Himself who is always faithful, and as long as we put our full faith in the One who has called us, we will see the manifestation of His amazing love and power in our lives.

As a lay leader in the church, Daniel works with Hewlett Packard as a Senior Project Manager and carries extensive marketplace exposure as an IT professional and MBA graduate with over 16 years experience in the IT industry.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys endurance sports specifically running and biking, and has participated in many local and international marathons in the past decade.
