Rue, is someone who is like a grandmother to the youth of a church in Missouri.
One day, after feeling unwell, Rue decided to go get a doctor’s second opinion on her health.
The news that came back devastated her – she was diagnosed with cancer.
As she was she walked in to her church’s youth service one evening, she encountered the unexpected.
Her church’s youth pastor went up to her to ask if the church’s young people could pray over her and her condition.
The youth rallied around her and prayed for her after the service. She fell to the ground, conscious that a miracle was taking place right there and then.
True enough, her scan just three weeks later confirm the news that there was no trace of cancer in her body!
From the experience, even some of the youth from the church were blessed by the life-changing miracle.
“I used to be a Christian who wouldn’t usually pray for people outside of church, but now, I’ll go around and if I see someone who is sad… I’ll go and ask if they need to be prayed for,” one of the youth from the church said.
No one could have predicted a “grandma” would be healed at a youth service, but we know that God can work anywhere and in any way.
“He is real… His grace and his mercy is just overwhelming,” Rue testifies.
